Initially start with light weight lifting work out involving dumb bell, pushups, pull over and increasing the weights step by step. Later stages include heavy weights with shoulder press, squat and bench press. The lifting should be proper for firm development of muscles. Muscle strength is used in punching and lying down the opponent on ground. A trainer or coach can help you in guiding through the entire course of exercise more effectively.
