Learn Mixed Martial Arts

Mixed Martial Arts is a fighting sport that involves the use of following disciplines:

 

-Boxing -Wrestling -Muay Thai -Karate -Judo -Kickboxing -Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and -Taekwondo

It is the game that allows a free contact between the players using fighting, wrestle and brawl techniques while standing and moving on the ground field. The modern styles in mixed martial arts begin the journey from 1900’s and were played all over Japan and Europe. In 1920 the combat style sport named Vale Tudo stepped in United States all the way from Brazil and laid the foundation stone for Ultimate Fighting Championship which later became the worldwide famous Mixed Martial Arts Company in promoting this sport. Rick Blume in 1995, the former CEO and president of Battlecade named as Mixed Martial Arts which later became the identity of this sport. 

Learn Mixed Martial Arts to build self confidence, to keep yourself motivated and get your self defense skills conditioned. Not only this, it is also used to promote good mental health. People are recommended to learn mixed martial arts so that they can overcome the bad thinking powers and undergo self development in a positive manner. It is always suggested to get your child enrolled in learning martial arts at a younger age so that he can easily cope up with the physical exercise and gain maximum benefit of it. Physically the fighter uses legs and hands as the fighting weapon for kicking, punching and other styles, but they also learn how to control their feelings, emotions, rage, anger and fear. The confidence they gain in maintaining self defense makes them surmount the nervousness and anxiety, they deal the opponent with courage and valor. 

 

What you have to do to be a good mixed martial arts competitor? Exercises are very important for a fighter and needs regularity to keep fit. Jogging or running at least 5 to 10 miles daily is must along with the work out. The point to remember is cardio training builds up stamina and keeps the energy levels high throughout the course of fighting. Initially start with light weight lifting work out involving dumb bell, pushups, pull over and increasing the weights step by step. Later stages include heavy weights with shoulder press, squat and bench press. The lifting should be proper for firm development of muscles. Muscle strength is used in punching and lying down the opponent on ground. A trainer or coach can help you in guiding through the entire course of exercise more effectively. Mixed martial art is a blend of both physical and mental exercises. Willpower to learn and regular practice is the key to success. Be patient and learn to fight not to win. 

Learn and get enough practice of all the styles used in mixed martial arts like kicking, boxing, karate, juijitsu and wrestling. Make yourself perfect in the combat style you enjoy doing and practice through cross trainings. Practice makes the man perfect along with proper guidance and all this can be benefited joining a mixed martial arts school, gym or training camp.
